What about security?

HP Online Store provided by Acquire is committed to ensuring the security of your information. We safeguard your information using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocols, the most widely accepted Internet encryption standards, to provide you with the safest, most secure shopping experience possible. This technology protects your private information by encrypting your sensitive information while it is transferred from your computer's server to ours.

As you navigate the site, you may receive security warning messages, depending on your browser settings. These messages are simply letting you know that you're entering or leaving a secure area.

What do you do with my personal information?

Acquire takes great pride in offering a safe and secure online shopping experience. We also respect your privacy and we're committed to protecting it. Here's how Acquire uses the information in your profile:

  • Address:
    We use your address to deliver you the products you ordered. Our delivery services do not cover P.O. Box Address. Please provide a physical shipping address only. Delivery hours are between 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday, not inclusive of Public Holidays). Any changes to the shipping & billing address are not possible once order has been received.
  • E-mail Address:
    We use your e-mail address to send you confirmation of your order and confirmation of shipment and to sign you in (along with your password).
  • Phone Numbers:
    We keep your telephone numbers on file to notify you in case of a problem with your order.


Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and fraud protection, and are not retained for other purposes.

Can I order by phone?

Yes, if you prefer to order over the phone, you can speak to one of our sales representatives at 0508 GET HP NOW (438 47 669). Our representatives are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding public holidays.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards (New Zealand credit card with New Zealand billing and shipping addresses only) for all orders.

How long will an item remain in my cart?

Your cart will remain available to you for 30 days.

What happens if one of the products I ordered is out of stock?

We'll notify you if you order a product that is out of stock and offer you a substitute product similar in functionality and specifications to the product originally ordered. You'll be given the opportunity to accept or reject the substitute product and price. The price for this new product may differ from the price of the product you originally ordered.

Clearance items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If you order an item from our Clearance items that we've run out of stock on, no substitution will be offered.

Will I get confirmation of my order?

Yes, once your order is placed you should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes. Just give us a call at 0508 GET HP NOW (438 47 669) and one of our sales representatives will help with your request. In some cases, the changes requested may require us to cancel your original order and place a new order for you.

How do I check the status of my order?

After logging in, click on the My Account link located on every page, and then click on My Orders.

When will I receive my order?

Provided your ordered item is in stock, it will usually take 2 to 3 business days to receive your order after is has been processed and payment is received and cleared.

Do you ship orders outside of New Zealand?

Currently, we do not ship to addresses outside of New Zealand

What are your shipping rates?

All orders over $150 (including GST) receive free delivery nationwide.

How do I return my order?

All orders are subject to acceptance by Acquire. Products ordered and/or delivered cannot be returned or exchanged, unless otherwise agreed by Acquire, at its sole discretion. Cancellation or reschedule charges for services may be applicable. Any non-refundable deposit paid in relation to a cancelled order is irreversibly forfeited at the time of cancellation. Subject to this clause, Once you have submitted your order it is final and binding upon you.
